Aux Anysetiers du Roy was first a restaurant located on Paris’s Ile Saint-Louis, near Notre-Dame, popular in the 1960s. The restaurant specialized in Provençal cooking, using olive oil, aromatic herbs, and garlic. At the end of dinner, each customer received a gift pot of the special herbes de Provence blend prepared by Louis Lombard, who was the first to include lavender flowers in the aromatic herbs. The success of the little crock gave his sons the idea to produce a line of items packed in clay and stoneware pots. This mix of oregano, marjoram, thyme and basil will ensure that your pizza and all Italian dishes encompass the full taste of Italy. By adding just a dash of Aux Anysetiers du Roy's Herbs Special for Pizza to your pizza, you will create a pie that will leave you wanting another slice! These herbs can also be used for the barbecuing or cooking of all types of fish to which they contribute a zest of tatse.
