Taste the rich flavors of the Iberian Peninsula through an authentic paella recipe! Whether you’re hunting for a seafood base paella or a traditional Valencian broth, this recipe can be adjusted based on your preference. While this recipe utilizes all of the ingredients in the Classic Paella Box, feel free to recreate with the items that you have on-hand!

Ingredients:

  • 2 ¾ of bomba rice
  • 68 fl oz of Aneto broth (seafood or Valencian)
  • 2 tbsp of Picual Extra-virgin olive oil
  • Salt
  • Optional: Choice of meats and vegetables

Step 1:

Heat up your paella pan to medium-high heat. Add your olive oil and salt.

Step 2:

Once oil is hot, brown your choice of meat (seafood or chicken) and vegetables. Set aside once done.

Step 3:

Sautée 1 /14 cups of paella rice in the oil for 2 minutes and distribute evenly.

Step 4:

Pour in the broth of your choice and bring to a boil. Do not stir the rice after this point. Cook on high heat for 10 minutes.

Step 5:

Once ready, arrange browned meat and vegetables on top of the rice and reduce heat to medium and simmer for an additional 10 minutes.

Step 6:

Remove from heat and let it sit for 5 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
