As 2021 is coming to an end, we would like to thank you for sticking by our side! TerraMar Imports successfully launched on June 14, 2021 with an ambition to share international cuisine with food lovers reminiscing on gourmet products they have tried abroad or those longing to experience a different gastronomy.
These last 6 months, we have accomplished several milestones!
- We have expanded to a total of 6 countries including Spain, Italy, France, Greece, Mexico, and the United States.
- Thanks to you, we have procured over 2,800 orders and shared over 6,800 products to your individual homes.
Looking Forward to 2022
TerraMar Imports’ market expansion is focused on what type of products our customers would like to see in our store. From customer surveys and social media insights, our expansion goals for 2022 include:
Slowly but surely, TerraMar Imports continues to provide a global culinary experience. As we continue to grow, we’re always looking for premium products that one cannot easily find in the US, such as our Il Boschetto olive oil. If you would like to see a product in our store, please reach out to us at email@example.com.
Our employees are the essence of the business as they continue developing new ideas, procuring new products, and fulfilling your packages. In continuous efforts, TerraMar Imports is a Hispanic-owned business where we aim to provide career development and experience for other minorities. Currently, our workforce consists of over 90% minority operators from Marketing, Sales, and C-Suite level management. We would like to maintain this number and provide an equal footing in entrepreneurship for all.
Based in Houston, Texas, TerraMar Imports aims to provide assistance to the community. Whether monetary or through volunteering, TerraMar Imports has proven to be involved in the community by aiding the Houston Food Bank with donations while also partnering up with Cristo Rey Jesuit College Preparatory of Houston to allow students to gain outside working knowledge while also earning school credits. However, TerraMar Imports hopes to bestow assistance into areas of the community through volunteering and other similar efforts.
Through combined efforts and local partnerships, TerraMar Imports would like to pursue live cooking classes with chefs who have proven to enjoy our products. Chef Aaron Bludorn, from Bludorn Restaurant, has set his sight on this partnership as a true connoisseur of French-inspired cuisine. Not only would this experience allow our clients to taste a professional chef’s cooking, but it will also show them how to prepare a gourmet-grade meal with international products.
2021 was a learning curve for our small business, but it has set a great trajectory for our future endeavors. From our family to yours, we wish you a healthy and prosperous 2022. Thank you for your continuous support!
